About Inner embodiment counseling

You don’t have to carry this all on your own.

I’m a Tyler and Whitehouse based therapist who specializes counseling for adults, women and teens who struggle with Eating Disorders, Body Image, Chronic Dieting, or Disordered Eating.

I embrace weight inclusivity and reject the diet culture. I specialize in therapy for individuals struggling with eating disorders, chronic dieting, the harmful effects of weight stigma, and body image issues. I welcome people of diverse shapes, sizes, and identities, fostering a safe space for healing from the destructive cycle of shame and self-hatred.

I adhere to the Health At Every Size approach as established by The Association for Size Diversity and Health within my practice. My aim is to support you in embracing intuitive eating and cultivating self-compassion as integral components of your healing journey.

please Hear me when I say:

Being here doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong.

I want you to know that you can embrace your body and radically and unapologetically take up space in the world. I want you to know that you can thrive and trust yourself. I help my clients find confidence, fulfillment, and values by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that clients can find confidence, fulfillment, understanding, and values in their life.

I know that your circumstances are unique, so I help you gain introspection by tailoring therapy to you, and always with an end goal in mind.

In sessions with me, we will explore the relational dynamics that are causing eating disorders, disordered eating, shame, self-hatred, and body image issues. We will work on boundaries and values that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you will be equipped with the skills and confidence you need to nourish your body and soul and enjoy life.

Therapy with me is…

  • Therapy will be tailored to your needs and what you would like to achieve through the therapeutic process.

  • You want to know you are working with someone who “gets” what it means to be you.

  • I take confidentiality seriously and we can meet in-person or virtually. Whatever works best for you.

  • I know that sometimes you just want to quit. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist, you’ll get someone who truly understands what you are going through.
